Lisa Dobriskey appears to have accused the women who beat her in the 1500 metres at the Olympic Games of cheating.

‘I’ll probably get into trouble for saying this but I don’t believe I’m competing on a level playing field,’ said Dobriskey, the 2009 world silver medallist, on Radio 5 Live.

‘Of course I am uncomfortable about it. I am not pointing the finger at particular individuals, but that is how I feel. I think the blood passport is catching people but I think these Games came too soon. People will be caught eventually, I think. Fingers crossed anyway.’

The best thing she could have done last night was run a bit a bit faster the 15 fucking seconds behind her PB.

Well done Taff - 3 finalists in these Olympics, excellent stuff.

GB have benefitted from some hometown judging in the boxing during the Olympics in fairness. Not their fault though. That is the advantage of being at home.

How have the micks managed 2 then?

He's not really bothered.

"You won gold, how does it feel?"
"It's okay. I found a Mars Bar in my kitbag this morning, so it's been a pretty good day".

Don't worry Jeff, if he dives anything like he did last night you won't have to worry about avoiding watching him later

Superb stuff from Ed McKeever. That's 26 Golds now.

Didn't a lot of people state 27 Golds would be unbelieveable when Goldman and Sachs predicted it? Even at 18 gold it seems too far fetched  These Olympics are really spoiling us.

Brilliant, it's like Nicola Adam's response:

"How does it feel to win gold"
"Ah it's made my day it has"

What are the little rags the divers collect before getting into the jacuzzi?

I think theyre towels they use to dry the platform which they then chuck in the pool subtly before they dive.

Looks like this superb Olympics will end on a low:

CLOSING CEREMONY
The closing ceremony is called "Symphony of British Music" and it will celebrate the last 50 years of popular British music. Athletes will come into the stadium and form the mosh pit and 3,500 performers will take part.

George Michael has already confirmed his participation and the Spice Girls and Tinie Tempah are among acts reported to be performing.

Think you may have to find some more gardening tonight Jeff. Daley looks like he's qualified, but I can't see him getting a medal let alone gold unless he ups his game significantly.

This diving lark looks insanely difficult. I'd empty the pool if I tried it.

Those who don't get caught, win. Wasn't there some poor lass in Beijing or Athens who was DQ'd as she went into the stadium in first place?

They should replace it with something unambiguous like running backwards, say.
