...even if it's by more than 15 points.

Ireland will also not lose any points, even if it's an absolute thrashing.

You wouldn't expect them to gain any points if they beat the Taranaki U7 girls team either.

To be honest, rankings be damned. This year is about retaining the Bledisloe and winning the Rugby Championship.

Not 100% sure but having listened to PR the last couple of months I think it may have something to do with Kidney eating dead babies

Our team is going to be so fatigued, understrength and injury riddled that these fixtures should not even be granted test status.

We've already proved ourselves this season when we manshamed the reigning Tri-Nations champions in the southern hemisphere, and if we were at full strength I'd more than fancy us to take this series, but as it is I'd rather cancel these games altogether. I certainly won't be tuning in

Why is that?

cause ireland is over 5 points away from NZ (about 12) and only the lower ranked team can get points if they win..jeez, why do u think Pacific Island teams WANT to play top tier1 teams?, they have a lot to gain and pretty much NOTHING to lose...as the saying goes, the bigger the team u defeat, the more u gain..

I tend to imagine DD has about 40 tabs open on various forums that he constantly spams about Israel/Palestine while pretending to be interested in the subject of the forum.

Makes you wonder why they play the smaller sides.

Nothing to gain a lot to lose

Having said that, I am sure the Irish will give it their best shot.

At the end of the day, she ain't like the AB's are going to gain anything

And if NZ lose.... By any points difference.. They will remain No.1.

However if Ireland win,, by less than 15 points they will switch with ARG to become 7th...

If by more than 15 points... They will jump to 6th.. In front of France.

They provide a great warm up for the important matches against quality sides like Argentina.

This. Have you seen the state of the squad we're sending down?

The best favour you could actually do us would be to properly thrash us so our coach gets the elbow.

By 15 points

So you think Ireland will beat the highest score line of any team to have beaten the AB's in the history of rugby

Good luck with that

Why is that?

Because the Zurich ranking system was a very good one and the IRB decided they needed one but it had to be different so went with a shit model and have stuck with it ever since

I'm not sure how pleading for these games not to be granted test status, before finally boasting that he won't even be watching these games on television constitutes as fishing in anyone's book? DD has embarrassed himself on this thread. Utterly embarrassed himself. I preferred his faux optimism and genetic superiority trolling shtick. 3-4 years ago I took a flounce bet with DD over an ABs v Ireland test. Fast forward to today and he no longer even watches these games.

BTW, I just love the way the Irish are so willing to support their home grown trolls, Mitty, Mullett, DD and the like. I take it you also believe these tests are "meaningless"?

The only team NZ can currently gain ranking points from at home is Australia. They wouldn't even gain any points beating SA.

Go easy on us All Blacks please.....

You have to understand we are going there with an awful eejit of a coach who hasn't a clue.

And you'll get no kudos for thrashing us at all. No extra points etc.
