CCTV footage available? Usually parking lots have some sort of CCTV and a white vehicle with obvious damage will show up somewhere.

No problem, hope you get the cunt.

Somebody might even have seen them.

Reminds me of the joke about a guy who has something similar done to his car and comes back to find a note under the windscreen wiper. The note says:

"Hi, I'm the guy who damaged your car. I'm writing this note so that the people who saw me do it will think I'm leaving my contact details..."

It’s only around 150 pounds, worth it if it got him a lower premium.

it'll depend on who you were and where you live. reckon I could get a tsara insured for around 300 quid a year. if I was 18 it'd be a more than the car was worth.

reminds me of when the missus decided to put me on her car insurance shortly after we met - some shitty peugot thing. she was with diamond insurance, they (in case you haven't heard of them) have the tag line 'a girl's best friend' and advertise themselves as a women's only insurance company offering better deals because women are better drivers. anyway, she adds me as a named driver with 6 penalty points on my licence only to find her insurance fall by 50 quid a year.

clearly this 'women are safer drivers' line is just for the marketing.

they are only safer because they don't like driving on motorways, or when its dark, or where they don't know where it is, or if they have just had their nails done, or if any parking is involved, or if the man is available to drive instead.

ain't that the truth. we'd had our estate car about 6 months before the missus would dare park it on the drive. she still won't take it anywhere if she has to parrallel park it anywhere.

A while ago a chap hit my car in a carpark.

He got out and wrote a note and parked it under my windscreen wipers.

A couple of friends present thought he had left his name and number.

The note read, "You deserve it you <expletive>" when I returned.

Little did he know I have access to the CCTV unit. Took me a while but I got the blighter.

Cost him the amount to repair said car and a £500 fine.
