I'm headed out to the Wild West next week for work - I've already setup the dates to coincide with Guy Smiley hitting town to finally catchup.

Any other Cabalistas up for it?

Flying back Friday which sucks but Wednesday and Thursday nights are clear.

Anyone seen Cadbury?

I was about to post "Don't forget to ask about the ladyboys" and you post "Has anyone seen Cadbury". Hmm. Suspicious. What is this highway you speak of?

Have you not heard of Townie's Nickname?

Sadly, SFBB is out of town :frown:

Ha ha - no doubt.

I think Guy is organising a spot. I'll be out at Malaga during the day but am staying in the city - anywhere works for me.

I'll be flying back into Perth on the Thursday night. I've not spoken to Towny for a couple of weeks, I'll call him soon, been a tad busy the last couple of days.

Waihora, you and I are well due for a beer together... being a Thursday, I reckon somewhere in the city would be better. I reckon I'll just head straight there from the plane and leave the car parked up for the night. Details will assemble loosely over the coming week.... where's SFBB?

 Don't think he has posted on political threads since a few months ago when he declared he wasn't happy with WA liberal Premier Alan Carpenter's recent efforts to keep living costs down.

Ali, my mate is up in Mt Isa at the moment - there is a Kayak race on up there. Heard of it?

Sorry, can't say I have. Nice time of the year to visit. 31 degrees in the day, down to 7 degrees in the evening and first thing in the morning. Bliss.

Ok, no shitting.

I find elcheapo carry on only fare to Perth on Thursday, leave Sydney lunchtime, drunk in Perth by 7pm local time.

I destroy GS couch, it'll never smell the same. Will however bring portable Cpap machine.

Meet dear sister for quick politically correct coffee on way to airport to fuck off home on Friday... actually might have to seek second sofa night Friday GS and invite you to dinner...

I'm up for this wee excursion to the wild west.

Not sure if we've discussed this before on here, but I am a fellow Cpap user.

Was born with sleep apnoea (apparently common with Pacific Islanders). Luckily was diagnosed early (22 years old) and completely changed my life.

You breathe instead of sounding like a 2-6-0 and those in the vicinity get to sleep.

Strangely though, when I was diagnosed I was 90kg, 185cm, was fit as fuck and had a six pack. Sleep apnoea can be associated with weight, but it is also hereditary and will afflict people regardless of weight. I was unlucky to have been born with a short neck.

I just checked it out... might have to look into that further. I snore like a bastard.

I share, Sluggy... a night or two wouldn't hurt but more might be pushing it. My housemate is female and expressing a peculiarly individual take on menopause. Working away suits me fine...

My current wife spent a year with me pre-cpap. Not sure how she survived it. As a young man I used to drive one night stands out of their own bed, so bad was my snoring.

Will describe the whole sleep apnoea sleep study process to you when see you.

Do you reckon you could strtch it to 3?

Of course, I could crash on the floor of MtE's hotel room on the thursday and then go for coffee all day... until lunch. If he can swing it.

(PS - maybe I'll just get my own digs - give me a 3/4 star near Freo/Subie, should suffice)

I have now ticked off cabals in the following cities:

Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and last night in Canberra with Brumbieman.

I have plans to hit Brisbane and Melbourne up in the next month.

The Hubbard Roadshow! 8)

Slug - I once stayed here when over there for work as there was no accommodation available in the city.

http://www.pier21.com.au/

Was pleasant enough - only one trian ride to Freo and 20 mins by train into the city.

Shit. Paying out $500 in airfares for a one -nighter is not looking that attractive.

That hotel you mentioned is fairly reasonable though.
