And instead we've got the yogurt golem.

The only real good thing would have been a simultaneous heart attack for both and a bice anarchy period, just long enough for the people to realize they don't have to chose between plague and cholera.

The deluded bit is in reference to typical right wing tripe spouted time and time again about hoardes of wealthy right wing detritus leaving at the drop of a hat of a leftist govt or socially sensible wealth redistribution. If these people

Geneva has gone from 32 - 43% non swiss passport holders in 10 years. they really do leave. One large US bank is opening an office for 3,500 staff in 2014. it really is a big step away from the name plate or small rep office. 2,000 of those jobs will be leaving London.

Switzerland will be very careful - it makes its money from the EU.

Switzerland is very careful. It isn't that easy to move here. but the Cantons are very strong in Law and some will compete for the money.

yay, am glad at this, it was one reason why i bought British Land shares last week: they own lots of city offices, who will hopefully pick up some of the French Finance types that lefty Hollande will drive away.
however, there is probably just an equal chance that lefty Hollande will feck things up for the french economy so bad, that the euro shockwaves will hurt the city of London.

glad im not french though.

I feel your pain. My industry is also getting fucked over. The difference between my industry and yours getting fucked is who is fucking us. Yours is getting done by the media. Mine is getting done by a combination of Indian and Chinese companies providing useless fuckers completely underskilled for the job and all because they are cheap. Any Telecommunication Engineering jobs going in Geneva?

Which ones Cammy??

Back on Telecoms...Telecoms is dead in Ireland on the cellular side until LTE is rolled out. That won't be in Ireland for another year at least.

On the fiber side we'll have to see first what happens to Eircom.

Good for you and your holiers. Not good for your exporters. The UK government doesn't want the pound getting too strong against the Euro or the dollar.

Nope indeed our race to the botom on currencies was going quite well.... damm the froggies. I reckon Spain gets fucking hammered on credit again this week, 1% on French borrowing within the month. It really is a shocker tbh.

Germany will never agree to it. No German voter would put up with that. I think we're going to see Europe go down the US route and borrow off the Chinese.

The German left agree with it. I think we will have another year of debate, but EuroBonds will be the result. Just time enough for the Irish austerity measures put some manners on the PS regarding perks etc.
