Two things you might not know about Aonghus McAnally

1. He has a 100+ break in snooker
2. He has never been to the moon.

Do you know what pisses the Kiwis off most about Drico? Why he draws their ire like no other player?

It's pretty simple. They've never had a centre as good as him. The closest they came in recent times was a poached thug, so afraid of being embarrassed by O'Driscoll, that he assaulted him off the ball in a disgraceful act, condemned by the international rugby community.

I put this to my test group of Aussies, Kiwis and Poms tonight...the consensus was "Bwahaha, potatoes..."

When the night is over and you have taken off your fluffy cuffs, leathery tape gags and wiped the hot wax from your goolies, ask yourself: Was this post worth it

I have come to the conclusion that, as a nation where rugby is the top sport by a country mile, that it is completely appropriate for NZers to be infatuated with BOD, the greatest rugby player to ever play the game. And yes, that is taking into account the different roles of the different positions in a team.

I apologise for interfering in the love in.

Carry on.

Fuck sake paddies, get a grip. he's not even the best in the pro era.

So the 15 ex-rugby internationals and journalists writing for "Rugby World" magazine who voted Brian O'Driscoll "The Player of the Decade" in 2010 got it wrong and you got it right??????????????????????????????????

Yes he has - but not for violent play.
How does that affect his "world player of the decade" vote?

RC/Hova (narrating his life): "I walked into the office and sat down at the desk. I looked with a grimace at the questionable reply Bigbluebear had placed in front of me. Of course I'd never tell him how disgusted I was with his posting, but somehow I think he knew. Bigbluebear had always been full of energy and life, but lately I had begun to grow more aware of his aging. The bright, exuberant posts he made that I had fallen in love with were now beginning to grow dull and listless with the long fatigue of a weary life.

Well, those are mostly your words....

But ok then - is this not foul play? "After the break O'Driscoll was shown a yellow card by Kelvin Deaker for a high tackle on Italy's scrum-half Paul Griffen"

It's clear that many kiwis underrate the BOD. It's also clear that many micks overrate the BOD.

Let's all just agree that he wasn't as good as Mortlock and leave it at that.
