When I was at the gym yesterday evening there was a vociferous chap extolling the merits of Ken with the suggestion that of the two front-runners Ken was the more "people person". All politics aside that's a twatty statement. Boris may bathe in warmed-up Veuve but I'd still much rather have a beer with him than Ken.

On a presumably unrelated note someone had shat in one of the showers. I kid you not - shat in the shower. I'm not even sure my socially conditioned sphincter would allow such behaviour even if I wanted to.

Perfectly normal behaviour to have a slash while showering - but a tomtit?

Any suspect in mind? 8)

Though Miliband must be worried if Boris alone can beat the Labour party.

I can honestly see the next election being another hung parliment. The Tories are about as unpopular as they are going to get, Labour can't beat Boris Johnson and the Lib Dem vote percentage has stopped sinking and is essentially the level it always has been these past 8 years when not enjoying the protest vote. All Miliband is doing is droning on about how they have listened to the people, what exactly is Miliband and Labour doing differently then before that shows some infulence besides a Greggs photoshop?

It's slightly interesting that the Labour vote here, with the protest addition, is actually a fair bit lower then polls suggest.

At the moment, if there was a general election, I'd vote UKIP for the shits and giggles. They may well kick the Tories out around here and hopefully it would send a message to the Tories that even their safest seats can't be taken for granted, and tell our current MP that if she wants to be Welsh Secretary fuck off to Wales, if she wants to represent us then stand up for our local issues. Plus watching Farage go off on one is always funny and it would be even funnier in Parliament, and an admission by yours truly that I voted for UKIP would send croyals senior into a massive rage, the consequences of which are yet unknown.

A few commentators suggesting a Boris victory is not a formality, second preferences may still swing it Ken's way.

Doubt it - but exciting.

Now personally I wouldn't vote for Ken Livingstone even if Womack promised me a night out with Sam Shark and Austin Healy but I'll piss myself laughing if it scrapes this, the howls from down sarf on here will be deafening, in fact Bill might just have a coronary.

Pretty exciting stuff in London if you know the characters involved.

Richard Barnes gone, Brian Coleman looking like losing.

Anyone but Ken. I'd take that idiot independent woman who is giving London's intelligentsia an unexplainable hard on over Ken.

I dont know how they work this out but "experts" suggested he could only overcome Boris on second choices if he was within 2%

That's current, not official 1st count. Apparently there are some labour areas yet to be counted.

1) I went to grammar school. Go fuck yourself
2) I've been drinking all afternoon. Have a problem with that? Go fuck yourself
3) In my school's sixth form common room we talked about sports and sex, your school was clearly full of wierdos.
4) I thought you Lib Dem supporters (see what I did there ;) ) would be happy with people attempting to vote the Tories out. Apparently not. Go fuck yourself.

LBC still pushing the idea that Ken may sneak in, the second preference eh.......

Im sure they just want us to keep listening, even if it is Iain Dale and the quite dreadful Jacqui Smith. Brian Paddick, the Lid Dem candidate, refused to be interviewed

Latest news I have seen has Boris 108,000 votes ahead but with two seats left to count, but that Ken is expected to close that gap by only 30,000
