Where'd you think Blair will end up?

Has looked a bit more like his old self this season.

The cynic might suggest that's because he needs a new club - he should have left embra 2yrs ago.

You may have a point. However I think his growing partnership with Laidlaw is a much more likely reason.

Any chance Leinster might fancy him? Blair's plays in a fairly similar style to Reddan or Boss but he's an all round better player.
Judging by the Leinster profiles, Boss signed on a 2 year deal in 2010, so they make be looking for a replacement.

Doubtful. They wouldn't know a good SH if it hit them.

Sad day for Dundee, but good to see a club coming up and challenging. Their day will come.

As an ex DHSFP man I concur. They have been here before though and usually drop away the following season. Hopefully they will maintain a bit of consistency.

BM did you know Deegee is a DHSFP man? And my son is playing for the twos. Thats his second season and Degee is such a miserable git he hasn't bought me a pint yet.

Coo, I was only there for half a season in 1990 before I broke my back. Spent a year out and in that time I moved away from the area. It is a pretty tenuous link. Great club though and there were some fine players there at the time.

If Glasgow can turn over Munster this weekend they have an excellent chance of getting a home semi-final. Not saying that either Treviso or Connacht are push overs but Glasgow's recent form has been really impressive and I'd fancy them to win both games. Really enjoyed the way in which they're playing, sensible kicking game with a good mix of direct forward play and creating space for the backs out wide. They're playing with confidence, with Kellock, Harley, Fusaro, Cusiter and Dunbar particularly impressing.

Not been the biggest fan of Lineen over the years but I've been very impressed by how they've performed over the last two season's, shame the SRU are giving him the boot now.

I'd personally prefer to see Laidlaw move back to scrum-half next year and Leonard be first choice fly-half at Edinburgh, plays with his head up and looked like he had the complete package considering he's only 19.

good move for them, the Gunners are definitely going downmarket though.

This is a WTF on so many levels. I'm guessing that Argentinian and Georgian props have gone up in price in the last few years. But there's still no excuse for that. Reece's signing suggests that Laidlaw is now considered a 10 which is positive I suppose. But Reece is good enough to get in the way of Leck's development and therefore others in the queue. Bradley really doesn't know how to ride a wave of popularity. He's just nose-dived from the crest into the sand in an instant.

Sorry, thought he was. But the time he takes to get the ball away, he could be English / Irish / Welsh [delete as appropriate].

Seems he played for England U16's and U18's so im guessing not.

You'd think Bradley would have been able to spot a scrum-half but his two signings have been Leck and Rees, bizzare.

I was looking through youtube for any kind of highlights for the recent Glasgow games and came across this guy's profile http://www.youtube.com/user/Matt8929. He uploads full games in parts. Thought people would appreciate it if they missed seeing the match live.

Anyone got to the Melrose 7's? Jerpy?

Read in the local rag that Aberdeen Grammer made a very good account of themselves, pushed sarries in the semi before bowing out, unlike Jed in the final who got humped!!!

Always a good weekend in sheep bothering country the 'rose 7's.

Grammer did very well.

I know Sarries were a late replacement, but I wish they would stop inviting AP teams - full time pros versus amateurs always ends up in a humping in the final.

Yep NL both Grammar and Jed did well. Some cracking games generally.

I see Kelly Brown has ruled himself out of the summer tour. Feck.

Bay of Plenty, whose sponsor pulled out.

Still shaking with the DTs, so yes it was a grand day.

Darg, saw that this morning - a real change from two weeks ago when he was talking about being back in May - hopefully he will be fit and raring to go in the new season as captain too. We need a temp captain for the tour.

I suspect Kellock may go as captain in part due to Ford's abject performance and since we'll nedd less bulk in the locks at scrum time. There may be some credibility in that. And there's no others apart from Blair perhaps.

No, not this year. Watched it with Dougie Vipond and some job applications.

No worries about the thing, ill hear from you when I hear from you.

Jerps, we lose a lot without Kelly in there. Ford showed his captaincy skills in the 6n and I wonder if Robbo isn't having second thoughts, cos he didn't inspire. Who to turn to? The scrum halves? kellock? Gray!? I think he'll stick with where he is.

The thought of Kellock packing down behind Cross against Australia is not comforting. I noticed Glasgow put him on the loosehead side against Munster - possibly a factor in Gray's under-par performance?

Anyone have an idea of the number of kicks Jackson has missed in the games he's played this season? Tried to get it off the Pro12 website but they don't show missed kicks on the match report. He must be up there with the worst kickers in the league.
