As with every season Liverpool supporters thought they were in with a shout of top 4. Way into the season when it's obvious the team isn't good enough the belief is still there. It's only with their loss to Arsenal that many actually admitted they had no chance.

The reality is they may not make top 10. Considering how much money they have let Dalglish spend they are having a terrible season. The good thing for those who don't like Liverpool is the fans still love him and he may well be there to fuck things up again next season.

That is over a season I was assuming he was talking about Liverpool coming unstuck today. As for Man City that was always going to be an arb and I've already done that.

Newcastle 1 Liverpool 0

Only 22 minutes into the game and the Newcastle fans are already singing "sacked in the morning"

King Kenny needs a goal

Thats was a joke, just flicked it on to see replay. He could have scored if he stayed on his feet. Alan Pardew is some man to have gotten £35 million for him.

Possible the best/worst (depending on who you support) bit of business in the history of football.

I am, we are simply giving them way too many chances.

Liverpool came in with a bid of £30 million, Pardew said no, and 15 minutes later they upped it to £35 million.

He then said yes, in the meantime they have signed Demba Ba on a free, though he does have an £8 million buy out clause, and Cisse for £8 million. They have scored 21 goals between them, Carroll has 3 this season.

Liverpool are not going to sack Kenny Dalglish, particularly after he's won the Parker Pen shield or somefink. The man's an Anfield legend and will get another season at least.

Which should be fun. Particularly as he needs to spend more money.

Also worth noting that Cisse has only been at the club since the end of January and has score twice as many goals as Carroll in that time.

Fenway SPorts wont release any more money for him £100 million or so spent in the last year I think. Carroll for £35 million, Suarez £21 million, Downing, £20 million, Henderson, £16 million, Enrique £7 million, think there were one or two more as well.

He could probably get £30m for those five now. Might be able to acquire a couple of players worth a damn with that.

Daglish/Camoli dont have the necessary savy to get good players at a bargain it seems. Only Enrique seems to be at his market value, maybe Suarez but he doesnt score enough.

Papiss Cisse: £9million 7 PL games 6 goals. Andy Carroll: £35million 36 PL games 5 goals.

The funniest being Sunderland paid to fly Cisse return to the North East for contract negotations and he went and signed for the Mighty TOON!!

Another for Cisse. Very composed finish but he was about 3m offside from the initial ball, how does that work?

Ball touched by the intervening two players competing for the ball, Cisse was back onside after it came through them.

I wonder what Joey 'England's pre-eminent intellectual' Barton has to say on this matter as well?

How long more will the Irish council house knackers continue to throw our tax money at following that joke of a side? Can you imagine getting a flight to watch them?
