Do I need some super computer to play this game?

Also, do I need to have a neckbeard?

Don't think so. Blizzard never have huge hardware requirements for their products.

As for buying, dunno, hate activision with a passion and at $109 bucks....

No one can play yet. Registration gets activated at 1pm here, then the online servers get going at 5pm. Something to do with time zones and the US not wanting to be left behind.

Reports from the open beta are good though. Same same but different basically. If it's anywhere near as good as DII I'll be a happy, happy boy.

Harsh but fair IMO.

Very little chance I'll be playing this yet. Still finishing up Morrowind after all.

There's a digital version? Sweet. My netbook doesn't have a DVD drive.

I'll see if my...uh...friend can find it.

Don't you all go fucking quiet as soon as you're allowed in. I want some decent impressions of this game. I loved Diablo 2 and will be getting a new computer soon and this game is second on the to-buy list (I need Starcraft 2)

I've played the Beta and it was good. It was just a taster of the game, the 1st Act. So the first couple of hours wont be new to me. Act 2 onwards is really what I'm keen to see. Not long to go now. Hopefully no login issues.

Half an hour to go. I suspect that it will be more like 3 hours to go, with the inevitable crashing, burning and screaming that is going to occur with 1 million people trying to log on at the same time.

Beta was only part of the first act. Seemed pretty promising though.

Enjoyed the little of the Beta I was actually able to log on for, too much study to do didn't help, but neither did too much lag and it being impossible to get on at times, but it was a public stress test so...

Still, the smiting of demons was goooood.

This x 10000000000000

N00bs to a man. It's not my first rodeo so I'll be studying for a few hours, which will ease my guilt significantly when I actually try to log in. If it's still screwed then I'll go on living my life until tomorrow.

There's an auction house for that and a totally separate auction house for in-game only currency. Anyone who spends real cash on gear is a dick in my view.

To think, for the 60's it was mind expanding drugs, for us, fantasy computer games. I wish I could pretend to be above it but I spent a week playing Dragonage and as soon as I completed it, I started ANOTHER FUCKING CAMPAIGN! Wtf's wrong with us?

I love dragon age.

Tbh, they lived in a drug friendly era. I'd love to get high as a kite and fuck posh girls pretending to be deep and spiritual while listening to Hendrix. If only.

Just done with the first act. Really enjoying it so far. I'll put my battletag up as soon as I can remember what it is.
