Administrators, mods, rockers, etc: if you're worried about spammers, had you considered a more detailed subscription form? Asking us to copy pictures of letters is surely less secure than a subscription questionnaire along the following lines.

1. Are you Irish or have you ever supported Ireland, Leinster, or Munster?
2. How do you wipe your arse?
3. Be honest - what do you really think about Wayne Barnes?
4. Are you concerned by the cost of childcare in London? If not, why not?
5. What would you do to this picture of Paul O'Connell?

Is this just being ignored or what? I've asked four times now. Mods?!

If the old bored wasn't being kept there's plenty posters might havce kept with the changeover coming. But we were told that it would available in a read-only format. So what's happening?

Lino, there was some chatter about the old bored having been overwritten/erased, not sure if that's official or not. Poor form, if true.

Poor form to muck it up if true (I'd also question how the hell that could happened) and again not to tell us.

As I said, I have loads of threads bookmarked with various bits of info that was handy to have, some very - I definitely would backed up the information in some manner if I'd know there was any risk.

Still no "official" response? Come on, I'm not asking for much, it's a fair question....

Nevermind, must have been imagining it.

I'd be very surprised if that were the case but the complete lack of a response from the mods to repeated questions is a bit off.

They have been very quiet on this. Are they on holiday, or have they been fired?

Fangle,

Awesome avatar - although you need to show the full office pic with your dropsheet on the floor.

Maybe this is only a problem for me, but I seem to get a huge number of whiteouts when trying to view topics.

Especially if returning to view my submitted post.

How do you insert an image on this new layout?
I don't know how to use that Img tab.

It's not the mods - it's the admins and/or the techies. I am also resembling a mushroom here.

Is there anything actually better about the new bored from a user's point of view, other than the search function?

I like the fact that you can click on next page and have it track how many messages I've read without having to go back to the home page each time.
I like the fact I can log in from multiple devices without being logged out from the other (work pc, home pc, phone).

Yup, it's where you put the petrol to power the bored.

No real idea. It does mean a couple of my protagonists can avoid my posts.

I don't bother.
