Well my guess is most of the City fans who were going before the takeover are still going. I would guess the percentage of supporters who would have preferred it not to happen would be very very very small. You may have spoken to most of them.

The main reason why I think he is making it up is like it or not no one in Manchester thinks it's "a toy for a couple of sheikhs". The redevelopment of that part of Manchester alone is enough to convince anyone with a passing interest of that.

It's easy to see, they used to be one of the most romantic clubs in England and I used to love going to Maine Road during my time in Manchester but they are now artificial and have zero respect of educated football fans.
