No he's a Commerce head I believe. Business subject today.

I remember Devin Toner was sitting two rows to my right one year within sight. Lumbered in and out in his full Leinster tracksuit. I believe it was his 8th year of trying to get his degree.

1. He got into a University, a damn site better than most pros from other places.

2. Gets the degree eventually.

It shows his commitment to education that he was still plugging away after all those years.

Most Welsh players don't even finish secondary school.

It should also be pointed out that Toner is an excellent classical piano player who was considering going the concert pianist route instead of the rugby route when he left school.

Leinster boys are refined and still achieve across multiple disciplines.

Contrast that to the private Australian and Kiwi schools who seem to take any ol' Bogan on a scholarship, play him on the first XV and not give the fella a decent education.

What? They are test match intensity. In fact they are often of a higher intensity and quality than many test matches and many six nations matches to boot. A match between Toulouse-Leinster or Clermont-Leinster etc, isn't of the same intensity as a six nations match? Well, you're probably right, on reflection. It's of a higher intensity. Certainly ahead of some of the dross normally on view in the six nations.

That really is bollocks. They are not test matches and the player knows it. It's not about the skill level as we know he has it. Test rugby is a different stage.

Really? We had a team in the final last year have been the equal most successful nation in the Heineken Cup, more so if you include making it to the final.

Uruguay used to be good at the football. The AP is shambolic and your international team can't seem to have a night out without riding the arse off of a dwarf.

What did Toner study? From what I understand they're allowed to just sit half the amount of modules/credits by UCD which would explain Sexton still being there. Fair play to them carrying on with it, could be tempting to not bother when you're pulling in 250k +.

You really think that for a fly-half the pressure in a HEC match is a big as it is as big or greater than in test rugby.

dream on sucker

Has that anal-raping at Twickwenham a few weeks ago now made it acceptable amongst Irish rugby supporters to undertake a gay cruise on internet sites? i.e. you've got a taste for it now?

It is the wonderful spud paradox. They own games that approach test match intensity but lose most games played at test level. If only there was an in between.....

Sexton is an excellent club player but has struggled to impose his authority at international level. You have to go back three years to find a decent performance at test level. Maybe the New Larkham tag put him under too much pressure. He had a nightmare of a world cup but it looks like he has moved on from that.
