Puma was the naming of the baby Trinidad in line with the new media fad of calling the baby after where it was conceived a la Brooklyn Beckham?

I have to confess it was my older son who chose the name. My wife and I both liked it very much, though.

is the next one going to be named 'Tobago'?

That's exactly what our youngest son said immediately afterwards.

Julian,

Great picture. Which one is him? I know he is not "zanjero" (Edit, already seen your post).

Puma, is the second jumper -lock- from the "bosteros". He's at U15 "A" now, very proud of him.

I'm afraid that one will probably go into the "extremely unbearable teenagers" thread.

Many congrats Puma. She's a corker all right.

I've been trying to post a photo of TLA all day, to mark the enormously important occasion of her starting to walk but bluddy Photobucket has been out of action all day.

As a general rule, I'm pretty certain the only people who look at this thread are those who want to indulge themselves in a spot of "being an extremely proud parent in a way that (rightly) gets the piss taken out of you if you do it in real life" sort of thing.

That being the case, as matter of interest, did anyone find the above comment even remotely amusing? Or, to be more accurate, in the same solar system as the word "amusing"?

Favourite Cbeebies programme[ 6 vote(s) ]
1.Lazytown 0 / 0%
2.Tweenies 0 / 0%
3.In the Night Garden 1 / 17%
4.Tots TV 1 / 17%
5.Tellytubbies 1 / 17%
6.Something Special 0 / 0%
7.Numberjacks 1 / 17%
8.Charlie and Lola 2 / 33%

My personal favourite is In the Night Garden, narrated by prominent thesp Derek Jacobi.

I didn't include Jakers for fear of a mass Irish partisan vote.

Absolutely hate the Tweenies.

Cheers Puma.

Pigsy: Mrs S took TGC to see the Tweenies at Wimbledon Theatre a few months ago and said it was monumentally crap. Even TGC thought it was boring.

Have you tried cbeebies online? All those programmes have games, most of which are very good (if you're 3 going on 4...), especially the Numberjacks one.

Softie: Yes indeedy. By far the best is the Animal Parade on the Teletubbies page. Its on page 2 of the games so is easily missed.

I like Numberjacks as it has a catchy theme tune.

Hookah: Beautiful girl you've got there, even with the ginger hair.

I'm sure you did. I'm also sure I ranted. I'm equally sure you'll miss that passing bandwagon if you hang around this thread much longer.

Oh yes! I certainly do! There are few things in life as much fun as a very weird 30-something bloke telling you he can't wait to see photos of your week-old baby daughter as a nude teenager. I imagine Puma nearly fell off his chair clutching his sides at your, ahem, "bait"**.

** Yes, of course it was "bait". Of course it was.

Thanks Pigs, I'm quite fond of her too. She's a bit of a diva as well. She appeared that morning and I told her that she looked beautiful, and she responded with:

"I do? You should take a picture of me"

Clearly the girl wants to be a model of some sort, once she's done playing sports to olympic standard, performing a concerto of some kind at Lincoln Center, and designing a suspension bridge. After all, she is terribly advanced you know.

Unfortunately the Yank accent is unavoidable. I'll work on trying to keep it from being whiney.
